Well, hello there! Glad to see you and thanks for stopping by. If you’re here, I’m guessing you’d like to know more about me, so here goes…
My name is Erin, and I live in Central Florida, with my crazy cats, my awesome son, and my main squeeze Jimmy (we first met when we were 10!).
2004 was the year I taught myself how to quilt with a book. Yes, folks, this was before YouTube. How did we even survive before YouTube tutorials? Now that I've said that, I realize I just aged myself... Yep, I'm an 80s kid, and I wouldn't change it for the WORLD! If you grew up in the 80s, you know exactly what I'm saying. I mean, come on! MTV, Alf, Nintendo, Cyndi Lauper...we had the BEST childhood.
My mom used to pull out her sewing machine when I was growing up. I'd watch her sew curtains and tablecloths and thought it was fun but only something adults could do.
Then in 3rd grade, I discovered my love of sewing. We made special Christmas potholders in school and hand stitched around a motif to “quilt” it. It was the most thrilling experience of my life at that point. Truly. I was OBSESSED with every second of making that potholder.
I dabbled in scrunchie making in middle school. It was the 90s, and I HAD TO HAVE scrunchies in every single novelty fabric available. My favorite had watermelons and ants on it. I loved it so much I never even wore it. Maybe it’s time to break it out… Scrunchies are back, right?
Anyway, here I am several years later still loving sewing as much as I did when I first used a needle and thread at 8 years old. Quilting is #1 on my list of favorite types of sewing, and putting together unique color combinations is a true passion. I am in love with what I do!
And now a bit about the “intuitive” part of my name:
Over the years I've experienced many interesting phenomena that can only be explained by metaphysics. Ghosts, clairsentience, clairaudience, mysterious synchronicities…too many to list here, and all were undeniable and incredible. And the best part is...YOU have these abilities, too!
I've always had a sense of being surrounded by something bigger, full of unconditional love and support. I talked to this "sense" as a kid (and I still do!), but I didn't understand what it was until adulthood.
Fast forward to today, I’m an avid Tarot card reader, mostly for myself and sometimes for friends and family. I’ve realized the sense I had as a child was my higher self, always there to help me on my journey. I base my life on the idea that we all create our own realities...your perspective IS your life. If you don't like your life, change your perspective! And I'm here to help you do that through inspiration, creativity, authenticity, and community.
